There are many reasons why you should have a Will. Most importantly it will ensure you decide what happens to your estate when you die. It can also help to ensure your children are raised by who and how you intended.
If you do not have a Will, the government will decide what happens to your estate. Estate planning is about protecting your family’s future after you are gone.
There are many things to consider in Estate planning, such as guardianship of minor children, testamentary trusts, superannuation benefits, binding death benefit nominations, tax issues, funeral wishes, distribution of assets, family trusts, business interests, international assets and much more. We can assist you in drafting an effective Will and advise you in regards to the many important considerations. When the Will is finalised you can safely store it with us and receive a copy for your records, or take it away with you and we will keep a certified copy.
